Propellerhead Reason Tip: You Should Be Using Blocks!

If you are a Propellerhead Reason user

and you are not arranging your songs using the Blocks feature you should be!

This feature single-handedly stepped to my game up in a major way since I started using it few years back. The thing I love about this feature is the fact that it makes me think about song structure from the get go. It forces me to write sections of the song instead of getting trapped in a perpetual loop.

The other really cool reason to use Blocks is the fact that once you have your section written and lay down you can then lay effects and things like that over top of the, sort of, “pre-baked” arrangement you have down.
